The mobile endpoint of the v0idrun platform. A OnePlus 7T (Snapdragon 855+) rebuilt into a self-contained handset for authorized wireless and hardware security testing, running crDroid on Android 16 with Kali NetHunter in a chroot.
The achievement is in the kernel. The phone’s own Wi-Fi chip, a Qualcomm WCN3998, ships with no way to capture or inject raw frames. A frame-injection patch was ported onto the crDroid SM8150 kernel tree so the internal radio does monitor mode and injection with nothing hanging off the phone, which means real wireless testing from a device that looks and works like an ordinary phone. The kernel was also built out for USB HID, Bluetooth, SDR, CAN and serial peripherals over USB-C, with a root solution that still passes platform integrity checks. It joins the rest of the v0idrun fleet as a managed node. Built and used only in authorized engagements.
And a cherry on top: a custom cyberdeck boot animation, because if you build the thing you may as well show off a little.
