An Android app for people who run AI coding agents such as pi and Claude Code. The agents live in a Linux environment on the phone itself, or on your own computers over SSH inside WireGuard. Geppetto is the control bar. The agents are the puppets.
Under the hood a terminal multiplexer built for agents keeps every agent alive in its own pane. Geppetto talks to it and turns what the agents do into cards, timelines and notifications. One board shows every puppet with a status dot: working, blocked, done or idle, questions that wait for you first. When an agent needs a decision your phone pings, you tap an answer and the agent continues. The same question also shows in the agent’s terminal, the first answer wins. Each task you sent becomes a timeline, one line per action, with the reply, its cost and a reply box with attachments. Agents post short HTML reports that read well on a small screen. The session tree shows every branch of a conversation, and any turn can be reopened, edited or forked into a new agent with a handoff summary. A full terminal with pinch zoom is one tab away.
A small extension gives each agent three tools: post an update, ask the operator, post a report. The app keeps no API keys and no host list, keys stay with the agents, hosts stay with the multiplexer. Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, built headless over adb. A personal project, not on any app store.
